Welcome to my practice.

Since completing her Masters in Counseling Psychology from CIIS in 2011 Pujita has been passionately supporting clients heal trauma and re-establish an internal state of grounded vitality. She works with clients that are ready to take ownership of their lives, unwind the old conditioned patterns that are perpetuating their pain, and step joyously forward into an easeful life of deep alignment with their heart and spirit. She has extensive experience unwinding developmental and multi-generational trauma, and guiding clients with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain stemming from trauma, in transforming and transmuting their complex distress and pain. Additionally, she supports clients in navigating significant life transitions, and aides in psychedelic and spiritual experience integration.

As a first generation American of immigrant parents with Middle Eastern, Indian, and European heritage, Pujita has built a practice rooted in cultural humility focused on supporting marginalized, and oppressed communities. Creating a welcoming and safe place for people that have not always felt safe, seen, and honored for who they authentically are matters to her. Over the past 12 years she’s been working with a diverse caseload of clients spanning many different identities, ages, and cultural backgrounds. [BIPOC, LGBTQi affirming services/ Ally, neurodivergent clients welcome]

Pujita’s approach is dynamic and collaborative. She takes time to align with each client and assesses what is going to be the most beneficial course of action. She is a believer in resilience, and each persons innate capacity to heal themselves. Viewing herself as a therapeutic guide she supports clients in uncovering their own embodied wisdom from a relational, somatic, mindful, and trauma informed lens. Pujita is a Hakomi certified practitioner [Somatic Mindfulness Psychotherapy], EMDR trained [Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing] and Brainspotting Certified practitioner [trained in levels 1-3]. She also incorporate parts work and the expressive arts into my practice in a myriad of ways, often used to increase awareness of subconscious material and support clients in being able to externalize and process emotions held in their system.

Pujita has been steeped in personal growth work since she was a teenager. Voraciously reading and attending every workshop and retreat she could in all subjects related to personal growth work, psychology, social justice, sociology, meditation, mindfulness and eastern philosophy occupied much of her free time throughout her 20’s. This journey led to the contemplation about whether to become a monk/ renunciate while living in an ashram in Kerala, India for a few years. Ultimately she decided to live the middle path and build a healing practice as a psychotherapist, which she has been cultivating for over a decade now!

She provides individual trauma-informed mindful somatic psychotherapy in California, and Integral Somatic coaching with Brainspotting internationally. View her offerings for a more detailed description of the individual and group healing experiences Pujita provides.
